Photo Polymer Printing Plates
|
Accu-Graphics, Inc. offers high-quality photopolymer plates for your specific printing needs. Photopolymer printing plates have taken the mantle of being the industry standard for clients whose primary emphasis is on creating a superior print on their particular substrates. Photopolymer printing plates have a longer print life than their rubber plate cousins. Many presses use photopolymer printing plates in conjunction with either a pin or camera system to have a higher level of color registration for jobs with low tolerances. Photopolymer printing plates will hold a 150 line screen. A conventional photopolymer printing plate is made by making a negative from an electronic file or traditional artwork. then exposing the negative to the photopolymer printing plate. We have the ability to produce polymer plates from 0.045 - 0.255.

Digital Flexographic Plates
|
A relatively newcomer to the arena of flexography is the digital flexographic plate. This technology first appeared in lithography a few years ago. If completely eliminating conventional plate making is your goal, Accu-Graphics, Inc has a complete computer to plate (CTP) system that combines high-resolution output with the ability to generate digital flexographic plates. Accu-Graphics, Inc. series of digital flexographic plates offers some distinct advantages over conventional photopolymer plates. The high-resolution imaging is a key benefit to the quality of the digital flexographic plates. These types of photopolymer plates allow the print press to maintain a very high degree of registration as well as low dot gain- at times making the print even comparable to it’s counterparts in lithography.
Accu-Graphics, Inc. digital flexographic plates can be imaged with screens upwards of 175 lines. Many customers seeking tight tolerances and/or very small type or the color accuracy required for 4/c process will notice the immediate benefits of working with digital flexographic plates.
